I’m Baba Lu Olutosin, and I want to thank you for taking the time to delve into our world. My journey as a storyteller and musician is deeply rooted in the rich legacy of my Great Grandmother, a natural Griottes although she would not have described herself that way. Using only what God gave her, Granny told stories through praise songs, piano playing, artistic portraits & paintings and she supported her family doing it. I can’t imagine what she would have accomplished if she had been born with arms, hands and fingers. This creative lineage carried on through my Grandmother and my Dad, who shared these treasured stories with me and my siblings providing a vibrant tapestry for our lives.
