Erica Gray is the Owner of Curvy Chic Boutique and Purpose driven Consulting LLC. She started her boutique several years ago, catering to plus size women. Fast forward to the pandemic. She noticed many young women were starting boutiques during that time. She felt there was a need to guide whomever she could to their own path of entrepreneurship. She had always loved participating in and hosting events, especially those dealing with minority businesses. She wanted to teach others what she knew about the boutique industry, so that they could avoid some of the struggles and mistakes that she had faced. She always believed she would become a consultant from the moment she started the boutique. Out of that Purpose Driven Consulting was born. With Purpose Driven Consulting she hopes to help women who have a passion for owning their own boutiques, or relaunch their boutiques, to launch their business in 90 days. She does this through group or 1-on-1 consulting. One of the mottos she subscribes to is sacrifice. She believes it takes both personal and professional sacrifices to make it as a business owner. She lives by the quote “she believed she could so she did”. Always believe in yourself and your dreams. If you have the passion and drive to do it, then do it! She holds a bachelors in Sociology from Jackson State, and an MBA in Digital Entrepreneurship from Strayer University. She has 9 years of experience being an entrepreneur.
