Mental Health Clinician

What's going on! My name is Diallo Smith. I have dedicated my career to working in counseling settings within churches and clinics, aiming to support Black male individuals and couples through their mental health journeys. Currently, I serve as a mental health coach at a private practice in Raleigh, NC, and also work as a Behavioral Health Clinician at One Medical. I primarily focus on Men’s issues, Church Hurt, and Depression in men in my work.

I am originally from Columbus, OH, and raised in Maryland. I recently just married my amazing spouse and we are coming up for two years. As I near completion of my studies to become a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am passionate about helping Black individuals and families across the diaspora navigate life's challenges.

In addition to my professional endeavors, I am also the host of a podcast titled “In This Moment Podcast” which focuses on faith and mental health within the Black community across the diaspora. Through this platform, I aim to provide valuable insights and discussions to promote mental wellness and spiritual growth among my listeners.
