My name is Cynthia Kussy-Goldberg. I am the founding director of the F8 Foundation. A re-entry program that works with the formerly incarcerated and those that suffer from substance use disorder. We focus on an out of box approach to help those rebuild their lives post incarceration. The F8 Works with those that served behind the prison walls for many years and understand what it is like to re-enter society and build your life again.

I serve as the Community Coordinator in Massachusetts for the Campaign to End Life without Parole, The President of the Criminal Justice Policy Coalition; consulting advocate for the Joint Venture theory, and consulting advocate for the Mass Second Look act. Advocating to get bills passed for second chances in society. I have presented interviews for the Boston Globe, Real Talk TV, Spotify on the Coming Home Coalition, Thomas Free Me Podcasts, and presented many webinars with Massachusetts Senators and Representatives on Medical Parole, Section 35, Technical parole violation, and recently hosted an event for “Holding Up the Sky” a documentary in the works about a formerly incarcerated gentleman, Ed Jordan, who turned his life around at Tufts University in Boston, Mass. I will be hosting an event on September 20, 2023 for the Campaign to End Life without Parole partnered with the We are Joint Venture in Boston, Mass.
I am on the Board of Directors for the Ronald A. Burgess, Jr. Foundation, a program that helps youth at risk.
I am a strong advocate on Parole watch; a group that oversees the parole hearings for second degree lifers and those future appointments to the parole board.
I am a former Board Member of Dress for Success and the Homeless Coalition but remain active in my support of these coalitions.
